This service is for adults living in Greenwich who have a cultural background or identify as being African, African-Caribbean or of Mixed Heritage, and would prefer to talk to a counsellor who reflects their ethnicity and cultural background.
Due to an increase in demand for the African and African Caribbean counselling service, the waiting list is currently closed. In the meantime, you can speak to one of their Mindline telephone counsellors for support on 020 8853 1735. For information on waiting times, please contact Mindline after February 2023. They match you as best they can with a counsellor who speaks the same language/dialect or comes from the same cultural background. Besides English, they can provide counselling in Yoruba, Igbo/Ibo, Jamaican Patois and other languages.
