The Campaign Against Living Miserably, or CALM, is a registered charity, which exists to prevent male suicide in the UK. They offer support to men in the UK, of any age, who are down or in crisis via their helpline and website. They believe that if men felt able to ask for and find help when they need it then hundreds of male suicides could be prevented. Their free, confidential and anonymous helpline service is open 5pm – midnight, 365 days a year; they also have a Webchat service which is open 5pm-midnight, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines, payphones and all mobiles, and won’t show up on your phone bill.
