Cancer Care support anyone coping with cancer diagnosis or a bereavement (which does not have to be cancer related) and live in north Lancashire or south Cumbria.
They provide cancer and bereavement counselling,
They also have specialist bereavement services for younger people needing counselling. They have dedicated children’s practitioners, many who also specialise in play therapy and use the fully equipped play rooms to help them express and work through their feelings, emotions they may struggle to express through traditional face-to-face talking sessions.
They provide:
- Creative group support activities
- Cancer and bereavement counselling
- Complementary therapy and counselling
- Informal support and advice
