In collaboration with Leeds City Council, Child Bereavement UK has opened a centre in Leeds offering support to children and young people who have been bereaved of a close family member or when someone significant in their lives is not expected to live.The service is for Leeds children and young people up to and including age 18, living within the Leeds (LS) postcode. The bereavement support practitioners will meet with them at their schools, children’s centres or a convenient community hub. Additionally, families and youngsters can choose to meet at their centre on Tunstall Road.
All services are provided free of charge and are offered by trained bereavement support practitioners.
