About Listing
The Children’s Heart Association (formerly The Association for Children with Heart Disorders) is a support group run by families and friends of cardiac children for families with, or who have had, children with heart disorders. The Association has branches in the North West of England, centered around Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital in Pendlebury, along with a new support group in the Isle of Man.
The Association is but one of several children’s heart groups which come under the umbrella of the Children’s Heart Federation (CHF). See their website at www.chfed.org.uk for more information about the group. If you live outside the North West and North Wales the CHF might help you to get in touch with heart families near you.
