Individual Counselling: We provide both short-term and long-term counselling to individuals who have suffered a bereavement. At each session the counsellor will support you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential environment. We provide counselling in a wide range of languages. Couples Counselling: We provide both short-term and long-term counselling to couples who have experienced the loss of a child of any age. The counselling will provide each of you with a safe and confidential environment where you can begin to explore you thoughts and feelings together, and the effects that your loss has had on your whole family or relationship. Group Therapy: We provide group therapy for a maximum of eight members who would like to explore their experiences of loss in a group environment. The therapist will guide and support the participants to come to terms with their loss. Befriending Service: We have a team of carefully selected and trained befriending volunteers from the multi-faith community. These befriending volunteers offer practical help and support to bereaved people, including home visits, befriending, and general advice and information. Our befriending volunteers understand how many changes there can be to cope with after the death of a family member or close friend. Our volunteers are also trained to listen and to be supportive at this difficult time. The above services are free of charge.
