Coping After Suicide – The Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service aims to support individuals and families bereaved by suicide and link them to relevant services.

We support families who have been bereaved by Suicide.  We cover 14 boroughs.  NW (Brent, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing, Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster) and in SW London (Croydon, Merton, Wandsworth, Sutton, Kingston, and Richmond). We will contact bereaved families within 72 hours of receiving the notification of the death and call and signpost to relevant/suitable organisations.  We have a Peer Support group which meets every two weeks supporting people who have been bereaved by suicide in a safe and supportive space.

Our designated Suicide Bereavement Liaison Officers can receive referrals from any source as well as self-referrals to offer:

One-to-one support
Practical support with bereavement including inquests
Guidance on where to find bereavement support services or mental health services
for more specialist support
Resources and support
