About Listing

The Coroners’ Court Support Service (CCSS) is an independent voluntary organisation whose experienced volunteers offer emotional support and practical help to bereaved families, witnesses and others when attending an Inquest at a Coroner’s Court. The CCSS volunteers are able to help at court, via the helpline and local telephone support service as they are not always able to be at court for you. They can also support people attending Public Inquiries and Major Incident Inquests. All support is free and confidential and can be accessed over the phone or by email.

For details of the coroner’s courts they attend, please see the website.
