We offer a range of services for bereaved adults, children and young people, and those who care for them including: A chance to talk in confidence with a trained volunteer in your home or a mutually convenient venue. The service is free and confidential and most sessions last about an hour. In addition to face to face visits, you can also talk to a volunteer over the phone. Support programme for children and young people affected by the loss of a family member, friend or teacher. Our Children’s Bereavement Visiting Group has specially trained volunteers who can visit you in school or at home to help you move through these difficult times. Informal groups provide a friendly place to meet with other bereaved people, One of our visitors is also available if you would like a private chat. Training in listening skills for those visiting bereaved adults and in the understanding of bereavement issues Tailored training courses for teachers, healthcare professionals and those working with bereaved children and young people Advice about other organisations that may be able to offer further support.
