Insight offers counselling to young people aged from 12 years upwards.
Counselling provides a safe and confidential space for a young person to speak about their problems with someone who is trained to listen. Sometimes it’s easier to speak with someone outside of the family and this can often be to not worry those closest to them.
Angus Adults Bereaved by Suicide (AABBS)
If you have been affected by the loss of a loved one, friend, family member to suicide. At Insight Counselling, we understand that taking that first step is not easy. Especially if you are unsure what sort of help if any, you might need.
When you are ready, our “Angus Adults Bereaved by Suicide” service is open to individuals aged 18 and over who live within the Angus area. Our qualified therapists offer one-to-one counselling in a safe, confidential, and non- judgemental environment.
Sessions are offered on a regular basis depending on your needs and/or availability. Our service can be offered by phone, video or face-to-face, where available.
There is no charge for the counselling service but they depend on donations to fund the service.
They counsel for a great number of issues, including but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Bereavement, Eating Disorders, Stress, Family Issues, Abuse, Relationships, Bullying, Feelings of Lost Hope and Despair and Suicidal thoughts.
Referrals are made on the website and can be self-referrals or by a third party.
