About Listing

Murdered Abroad provide  emotional support to families and friends of victims of murder or manslaughter outside the UK through:

  • Four face-to-face “peer support” meetings each year in London, Manchester, Gloucester and Northampton (these were held via Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic).

  • Connecting people together who have similarities in their cases or circumstances.

  • A 24-7 helpline (0845 123 2384).

  • Email support available from support@murdered-abroad.org.uk

  • Signposting/referral to specialist traumatic bereavement counselling services.

They also offer practical support on the legal aspects, including inquests, handling media enquiries, communicating with politicians etc.

They are also an action group working for change within the UK to improve the support families receive after their loved one is murdered abroad.
