Nafsiyat is an intercultural therapy centre, committed to providing effective and accessible psychotherapy and counselling services to people from diverse religious, cultural and ethnic communities in London. Our team is made up of experienced, fully qualified psychotherapists and counsellors from diverse backgrounds who are sensitive to the particular therapeutic needs of cultural minority groups.
We provide short-term intercultural therapy in over 20 different languages, via referral, to individuals, groups, and couples. In addition to individual psychotherapy, we support couples and families (please contact us if you have couple or family referrals).
Their free services are offered in the London boroughs of Camden, Islington, Enfield and Haringey, and sporadically to people in other areas through specific contracted projects. This therapy is short-term only, but available at no charge. We also offer short-term therapy free of charge to Barnet Council staff, Whittington Health NHS staff and North East and Yorkshire NHS staff. They also offer therapy to people living in any London Borough, but there is a charge for this.
Referrals can be via GP or self-referral on the website.
