Paul’s Place comprises a Bed and Breakfast and self-catering cottage (located in the village of Georgeham near Croyde on the North Devon coast). Grants from Paul’s Fund are available to pay the accommodation costs of staying at Paul’s Place and help towards expenses. All criteria re eligibility is on their website but includes; Young adults (18-30) who are facing one of these challenging circumstances: You have been diagnosed with a life limiting, life threatening or terminal illness. You have been bereaved, normally within the last 2 years, due to the death of your spouse/partner or a close relative (parent/child/sibling). You are acting as an unpaid carer on a full or nearly full time basis for a partner or close family member. Grants are also available to the parents of a young adult who has a life threatening or terminal illness and who are actively caring for them on a full or nearly full time basis, and to the parents of a young adult who has died. Please note that the B&B is also open to bookings from the general public under the name “The Old Bakery”.
