Pieta House provides a free, therapeutic approach to people across the Republic of Ireland who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm. Pieta House has twelve centres: Lucan in County Dublin, three in the greater Dublin area in Ballyfermot, Tallaght and Finglas and further centres in Cork, Donegal, Galway, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Westmeath and Wexford. See website for contact details of each centre. Pieta House also operates Suicide Bereavement Counselling centres (formerly operated by Console). They provide free counselling, therapy and support to individuals, couples, families and children who have been bereaved by suicide. They also offer a Suicide Bereavement Liaison Service for those bereaved by suicide, and a Freecall 24/7 suicide helpline 1800 247 247.
