Provided by and based at Nightingale House Hospice, no prior connection with the hospice is required. Release is a free bereavement support service to all children and young people who are under 19 years old and who live in the catchment area. The catchment area includes Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire, the A494 corridor to Barmouth, and the borders, including Oswestry, Ellesmere, Wem and Whitchurch. Referrals to the Release service are accepted from any source. This can include family members, school teachers, school nurses, GPs or the young person themselves. Are able to see the children and young people on their own, with their brothers and sisters or as a family. Also hold group sessions where they can meet other bereaved young people.
