About Listing

Safe Zone is a free, on-the-night face-to-face mental health crisis support service for 11–17 year-olds and their parents/carers living in Leeds, BD4, BD11, WF3 and WF10, who need someone to talk to in a safe and confidential setting.

Safe Zone is staffed by experienced workers from Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) who can offer around 45 minutes of emotional and practical support, COVID-permitting.

Safe Zone provides a hybrid approach, combining face-to-face support and telephone support from 18:00 to 21:00 pm, three days a week. Face-to-face support takes place at the following different locations:

  • Monday: The Market Place, LS1 6DG (above Hair City)
  • Wednesday: Touchstone Support Centre, 53-55 HArehills Avenue, LS8 4EX
  • Thursday: Dial House, 12 Chapel Street, LS15 7RW
