About Listing

We specialise in offering counselling support to women & families from all over Scotland who have suffered Miscarriage, Still Birth or Neonatal Loss. Our counsellors are trained up to MSc level in counselling.

Counselling meetings usually last about 50 minutes. You are welcome to come for as many sessions as you find helpful. The average number of sessions is 8, however, you can have more sessions if you need them. Your counsellor will help you to determine what would best suit your individual needs. Counselling sessions take place either face-to-face, by telephone. e-mail exchange is also used alongside our other counselling services.

Miscarriage Support is a non-profit making organisation. We do not expect a contribution from unemployed or low income families. For all other clients we ask for a donation based on a sliding scale from £5.00 up to £25.00 per session. We leave it up to you to determine how much you can afford. For the first appointment, we ask for a donation of £15.00, which includes our information pack.
