The bereavement service is available to any relative or friend of a patient who has died under the care of St Barnabas House, whether in the hospice or in the community. They also offer support to those who have been referred by another hospice. Services include individual support through: counsellors (up to 12 sessions), bereavement visitors, social workers and The Chaplain and can be arranged by contacting the Bereavement Service Coordinator on 01903 706342 or the Family Services Administrator on 01903 706341. Other bereavement support services include a monthly Early Bereavement Group, time to remember, social evenings, thanksgiving service and light up a life.
