About Listing

The Sea Horse Project.  St Wilfred’s Hospice offer support to children and young people both before and after the death of a relative or someone close to them. Regardless of whether they were a friend, sibling, parent or grandparent – talking helps. As well as direct support, they have also developed some workbooks that may help, and these can be accessed via their website. Whether or not the deceased was under the care of the hospice, if you are concerned about a bereaved child, you can contact the Hospice directly for support and advice. St Wilfred’s also offer group bereavement support and 1:1 counselling to bereaved adults, whether they be family members or carers, of patients who the Hospice have cared for.  They offer short-term bereavement-focused counselling support to any bereaved child in their catchment area (Seaford, Hailsham, Uckfield, Heathfield, Pevensey and Eastbourne).
