This Service provides individual counselling for adults (over 18) living or working in Sunderland. They are specialists in counselling for bereavement and grief and loss in the wider sense. There is a bereavement support group for those who feel they would benefit from the support of others who would understand how they feel. They also help people facing other problems – life issues such as relationship difficulties, divorce, separation, work problems, illness, depression, stress, anxiety and trauma. They have a Women’s Service, a Caring Together Making a Difference Service for those living (or caring for ) someone with a life limiting illness, a Careline team (rapid response team, activated in the event of a major disaster) and SAFE which is an advocacy service for adults with learning difficulties.
