Winston’s Wish is a charity that helps children, teenagers and young adults (up to the age of 25) find their feet when their worlds are turned upside down by grief. Anyone can reach use their on-demand services, including live chat, helpline, email and text support.
All of their support is available online, so they can support children and young people across the UK no matter where they live. They also help the adults who are caring for young grieving people including parents, school staff and healthcare professionals.
They also offer one-to-one sessions with bereavement support workers and counsellors, however these can only be accessed by making a referral. Anyone aged 13 or over can refer themselves. If you’re 12 or under, please speak with a trusted adult (parent, guardian, teacher etc) and let them know you’re interested in referring to Winston’s Wish.
